Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must have passed Class 10 (Matriculation) and hold a valid ITI/NTC certificate in the relevant trade.
  
• NAC (National Apprenticeship Certificate) is mandatory.
  
• Minimum qualifying marks:
  
  • General/ OBC: 60%
    
  • SC/ ST: 55%

Age Limit (as on 01 July 2025)

• General/EWS: Maximum 27 years
• OBC (NCL): Maximum 30 years
• SC/ST: Maximum 32 years
• Age relaxation is applicable for PwBD, ex-servicemen, and other reserved categories as per Government norms.

Salary and Job Terms

• Pay Scale: ₹29,500 – ₹65,000 per month (Artisan Grade-IV Pay Matrix)
• Initial Appointment: Candidates will be placed on a one-year probation, after which regular appointment will be made based on performance.
• Service Bond: Selected candidates are required to commit to 20 years of service at the assigned unit upon confirmation.

Selection Process

The selection will be based on the following stages:

1. Computer-Based Test (CBT) – consisting of objective-type questions from General Aptitude, Reasoning, and Trade-specific subjects.
   
2. Document Verification
   
3. Medical Examination

The CBT is tentatively scheduled to be conducted in September 2025. Final selection will be made strictly based on merit and verification of trade certificates.
